said by SSidlov : it is a bit strange as the guy, Muramasa is obviously a hollow or espada..... think he's the embodiment of some thing related to the King's Key issue that hasn't been revealed? I think these arcs take place after the espada incident, well at least the last one was.
What went through my mind wasn't that Muramasa was a hollow or espada, but rather he really is a Zanpakuto but can't exist for long without consuming or taking over a hollows body. After all, he killed his owner which might have severed his ability to exist without aid. He looks like he's dying.
Just my thoughts on this. -- As quiet as a fish.. |

Remember Toushiro seemed to have betrayed Soul Society also in The Diamond Dust Rebellion but it was all a ploy to try to rectify things. I bet you Byakuya is only seemingly betraying Soul Society and siding with Muramusa in order to get to teh bottom of things. I bet you he knows more than he is letting on. -- "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." - Galileo |

1 edit | Did you notice in the latest one that under the mask his Zanpakuto looks like Byakuya? Well it seemed to anyway. I always thought that Byakuya had a strong tie to his Zanpakuto and wouldn't have swayed under Muramasa so easily.
Still a shocker, though. Besides, we all know they wouldn't have him change sides, he's too popular and there have already been enough traitors. -- As quiet as a fish.. |

I really want to see Kenpachi make an appearance and finally see his Zanpaktou materialize . Imagine what his Shikai form would be, or his Bankai?! Damn, can you imagine how much more powerful he would be? That would be ridiculous! -- "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." - Galileo |

| reply to captokita I have to admit im very fond of bleach, the fillers only piss me off cos most of the time they bear no relation to the actual story line, do you think theres someone out there tirelessly collecting the bleach anime and producing a cut/uncut version without all the crap? |

| Ah just cut out the entire Bount filler arc (eps 64-109, all of seasons 4 and 5) and you're pretty much good to go.
Sure it had its interesting points but overall, coulda done without it.

| Hehe. It's getting more exciting!
Although, did anyone notice that the facial art is a little "off"? Perhaps they have a new artist? For example, Yumichika Ayasegawa (guy with the eye feathers), his facial artistry was very poor. Well, at least it seemed so to me. Also at the end, post-credits, you see Shunsui Kyôraku (flowery robe captain) and Jûshirô Ukitake (white haired sick captain) and both their faces are oddly drawn. Crude even. Oh well, didn't detract much from the great episode. -- As quiet as a fish.. |

| reply to captokita Nice. We finally get to see a couple fights I've been waiting for this whole time. Well, I donno what Kenpachi's would be like or even if he'll fight his own, but good to see him back. Soifon vs Suzumebachi ought to be good though.
Anyone else find Haineko and Tobiume reminiscent of Aeka and Ryoko? -- In dadkins' memory, Think outside the Fox... |

| reply to captokita "Tease."
That's all I gotta say about this week's episode.
Well, okay, there were a few HELL YEAH moments in there, but still, to sum it up in a word, I'd choose "tease."
Know what else I'd like to see? Yachiru vs. her zanpakuto. Has she ever even released it in the series? -- In dadkins' memory, Think outside the Fox... |

Kenpachi is a beast, 1-shot Wabisuke and pretty much laughing off Byakuya's attacks, these fights are going to be good. I almost wish his zanpakutou gets released just to have it ignore him. Hey the rest are brainwashed to attack the soul that spawned them for "enslaving" them. His would likely not even care since he doesn't even USE it. |

| Ok, everyone reading this thread has seen the first OP/ED for the fillers. So this falls in with the ED. I'll spoiler it JUST IN CASE, but really, you all ought to know by now.
going with the Kenpachi's zanpakutou bit, whose zanpakutou is shown in the first ED that looks like a pirate chick? I'm just sayin' eyepatch and all, and we've yet to see her.......... |

| If you watch carefully through that ED, after the second time the Monkey-girl half of Zabimaru shows up, and directly after Rukia and Sode no Shirayuki's appearance, you'll see.
Based on the assumption that when both are on screen, most if not all of the personified zanpakuto are shown with their shinigami, I'd say she's Kyouraku's.
I also find myself actually hoping we get to see pretty much all of the captain-level zanpakuto. Based on the aforementioned assumption, Ukitake's will take the form of twins, and should be amusing to see.
I still say I want to see Yachiru and hers. That'd probably make for one helluva funny episode. Either that, or scary. Very scary. -- In dadkins' memory, Think outside the Fox... |
