Taking control of the BBP software would be much the equivalent of getting inside the firewall of a corporate computer. As in hacking in to the system that you own. also there other unlocked and open phones that can do a denial of service attack as well. Symbian OS, windows mobile and others don't have software store lock in.
If apple wants that level of lock down then they need to make it 100% free (as in no fee to get your app there) for free software to be in the app store. |
