We still an hour+ left in the day, but the shorts and bears are getting killed.......even SIRI turned green and is up, lol  Oh well, done with that trade though  ........All stocks, pretty much, booming! I'd hate to be short anything ........with more money having to come into the market (as well) .... |

Did you see the late move in LGF (my movie stock)? Same thing...earnings today, probably to announce soon as well. That stock, as I noted before, I only bought because I LOVE their films, and never expect to make any money on it. I also like owning a part of a movie company....
PCLN....Oh man, I remember the good ole tech days with that stock...nice to see it do well after its reverse split.....that's a R/S GOOD story ...in the few that there have ever been....

| Oh man, people who sold their shares at 4:01PM ET must've been mad... it dropped to $160 and some change and now it's at $187!
I'm hoping for another short-squeeze tomorrow... similar to AMZN. Good thing I stocked up on PCLN 185 Calls... got in for 4.70 just 2 minutes before the markets closed. |

Its so "tricky" now....and 50/50 on holding through earnings. I don't blame many for not wanting to take the risk and taking their profits (off the table). Things could have went the other way and the stock may have dropped 20% as well.
Good job on all your options calls........It is definitely better (it seems) to buy calls for upcoming stocks (rather than puts) since the majority of earnings results have been GOOD & better than expected |

People were ready to jump out the window again in those last 2 weeks of October (just like March)........I just sat still since I know "panic" trading is bad.......I would have bought some more stuff but only had a little cash and didn't want to put that in the market (already heavily in the market).
Sometimes it is best to do "nothing" (just sit and hold) when you are confused and not clear on your next action. I wouldn't recommend this if you are in piss poor trash stocks, but if you are in the big cap solvent babies, you will be just fine
Now, the Money Managers have to play catch up, and some of them probably started today .......

| As far as I'm concerned, it has been a huge bear trap since March. Still lots of opportunity to short, and I'm still convinced that the market is running on irrational exuberance.
Regardless, the market can remain irrational a lot longer than I can remain solvent.

Got damn NVDA, could not hold its gains.....SOB!  Now I regret I didn't exit....bagholding this POS for a while. This stock is not for the weak at heart (its a rollercoaster, for sure). Once I decide to exit, I will NOT be playing this stock for an earnings run ever again .......Its much too volatile for me  |
