| Dayton Cable Changes
Saw a blurb on TV this morning that TimeWarner is completely redoing the Dayton cable lineup. Also, the newspaper reported they are cutting back on PBS channels they carry between Dayton and Cincinnati.

Especially since that is a COLUMBUS station. |

Looks like TWC moved northern Warren County out of the Dayton market and into the Cincinnati market, dropping all Dayton HD programming in favor of Cincinnati stations. Bummer...that was one reason I don't like satellite. We're considered "Cincinnati" even though we're not covered by Cincinnati news/school closings/etc.

Not much changed in the Basic/Standard line-up.
Moving WDTN from Ch. 9 to Ch. 2.
Moving EWTN from Ch 3 to Ch 9
Moving QVC from Ch 2 to Ch 3
Moving Versus from Ch 57 to Ch 323
Placing the Big Ten Network on Ch 57
Any HD channels I get are OTA through the cable line.
I do not have a digital cable box, because if I did I would need at least 4 of them and that is to damned expensive.
So all in all, a couple of moves. Not bad for those who just have Basic/Standard.
As for WPTO leaving the line-up in your area, it looks like in the Oxford area and points west.
Depending on where you are at in Northern Warren County, I'd just wait until the 25th and see what happens.

clubs: | The loss of the PBS stations has been felt, particularly because we watched kids shows on WPTO due to the times they were on and we don't get that. I rarely venture out of the 1000 block anymore, though.
