1 edit | Time to Lobby Ourselves We the consumers and taxpayers...let our voices be heard. Not just with this opportunity. Let them be heard by those folks whose salary we pay (aside from the kickbacks and such they may get from....)....those people we vote for (or not) our elected officials. Does it seem like we are hitting our heads against the wall when we do so? Sometimes...Just pad it and go at it again!! While you got their ear, let them know what else is on your mind. As it was going...we haven't much left to loose as it is.
I dunno about anyone else...but enough is enough!! Go for it!! -- »www.freedombuild.net Browse A lot - Sign In Little - Post Even Less |

 | AMEN TO THAT !!! Let's mobilize like the French do. Nationwide strikes to get their points across. You know what not be a socialist but municipal broadband is not a bad idea but not for free of course. Let the government get involved and compete. I bet when this health care reform passes you won't see the 20% yearly premium increases happen anymore and none of those "scare tactics" the industry says is going to happen will happen. It's almost like when Verizon was going around saying hey pass these muni laws to help us out and your rates will go down, how many of you have seen a dime in savings?
My point being is this "WAKE UP" cancel any service that caps you I guarantee that if enough do it it won't be long before they retreat on it. Look what has happened over the years as government has given into private industry. Multi million dollar payouts to these CEO's rising unemployment while outsourcing work, Oh and one more thing about this, why don't we outsource CEO's to a person who has better values and can live in his country for $100,000 a year with no golden parachute like a king. That should save the investor quite a bit...
Dealing with these CEO's are why we are in the economic situation we are today and NO ONE can argue that. I'm done with my rant for the day.... =) |

Get people into the FCC that actually know what they are doing, and not because they are friends of a friend. -- 801 Images |

Add another Patronage Haven "Let the government get involved and compete. " I can just see this. A new place to hire on their wives and nephews and pols who lost their last election, for $100K do-nothing jobs. Who cares if any "service" ever gets to anyone? |
