Re: [northeast] Brooklyn,NY FIOS Deployments i had seen them all over manhattan lately, really fast building up. but place in brooklyn where used to started up earlier all got slowed down.
i guess they gonna finish manhattan first, since their is a whole entire island of buss owners. |

they were hanging wire over the poles, n those area all had the pole in front of the houses. |

Development in my neighborhood stopped pretty abruptly. I'm wired, but not lit. 11225 SE corner of Prospect-Lefferts Gardens/Flatbush. |

live in boerum hill. yesterday i chatted with a verizon tech parked on my street.
at a meeting the techs were told 4-6 months before fios strung in backyards. all of the main underground wiring/routing is done. |

I'm in 11208 and have had FIOS 150/65 since January. Service has been rock solid on both upload and download. Have seen my upload speeds hit 80 mbps on occasion. Welcome to the club. |

My install took exactly 8 hours. they got here at 9:45 and they were litterally telling me its done at 5:45.
I am getting 99.85 down and 72.23 Mbps up. I am not getting the full 150 because my cad in my notebook isn't fast enough but the one in my desktop is. (just moved havent unpacked)

| Believe me, Brooklyn's whole rollout is disgustingly slow for some reason. They wired and lit all of South and Southeast. I'm wired, but nothing is lit. This is horrendous. |

Called the central office today. Looks like 11225 will not have FiOS for a very long time. Apparently, the next six months shows that FiOS will not be available. Here's to 2013, I suppose. |

Verizon was here this morning with a cherry picker. Looks like they installed one of those pole boxes that you usually see in FiOS-wired areas. I don't know what they're called. Are they FDHs? But it doesn't look like it's connected to the main fiber line yet. The cords are still wrapped around the side of it and the instruction manual is in its plastic and taped on the underside of it. Maybe my neighborhood is getting it sooner than I thought. |

This is what they recently installed. On the bottom left is a splice that's been there forever.

We have had the cable running through the backyard of our Apartment block for over a year. We still cannot get FIOS yet Apartments on the corner of our block can get it. |
