| I have a slight dilemma
Which would give better performance - The setup in the pictures - or should I run faster memory with a slightly lower Core clock.
In other words ~ 410 ram with 12 x 205 = 2460 Core clock.
My main concern is the memory divider - to get 6 instead of 7 i have to lower the core clock
I am trying to get Rosetta@home to perform at maximum speed. |

4 edits | Run the processor as fast as you can. The performance gained by running the memory at 400 is not worth the loss of the processor speed.
You can make up for the slower RAM speed by tightening the timings.
I have a 5200+ with DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 and it runs around 372Mhz.
With crunching programs, you'll want the fastest speed on the processor anyways to finish jobs quicker. |

Ok, I will tighten my settings, do you think i will have a problem, because i have literally the cheapest kingston ram there is. |

1 edit | reply to DataRiker Well, this does not look good. Do you think I can change any of the settings without majorly messing it up? |
