2 Wire - Solid red light only / Stopped working

I have a Telus 2 wire / wireless router and it stopped working. Only the red light was visible on the unit. Telus was unable to come for a service call for 5 days. Sadly 5 days is a long time to go without tv or internet service so I figured I would search the internet and try a few possible solutions myself while waiting.

I purchased a new power source at The Source. The power unit was a Universal Digital Camera Adapter and adjustable from 3-7 volts. I set the unit for 5 volts and attached the correct adapter piece to plug into the unit and WHALA! it worked.

The power source cost was $21.00 with tax.

Gotta love the internet
