| Modem cycles when heat pump turns on Like the title says. The cable modem cycles every time the heat pump or ac turns on. Tried different breakers and still same problem. Grounding seems fine. Looking for ideas on how to stop this. I'm an avid gamer and these interuptions every 20 or so minutes is very annoying. |

| put it on a surge protector... that should clean the power to guard against brown outs. |

Just get a small UPS and put the modem on it. A surge protector alone will not help you with regards to voltage drops, you need a battery backup in the mix. |
