I agree the customer service is extremely poor. I travel a lot with stays in various cities for two to three months at a time. I thought I could simply bring my CrearWire modem when traveling. Thus a purchased a modem and got the M2M so I could not pay for it when I'm at home with my fiber connection. I went through 3 people before I could Cancel my service and was warned that there might be a $50 change to open a new account. This just floored me, I just wanted the account put on hold (turned off) for a couple of months. To do that, they wanted a $19 processing fee plus $10 a month that it was on hold (Yeah, like I'm going to pay them for nothing). I'm a business consultant. I do not need the Online Gaming or streaming performance that other require. This was a nice solution for me but I refuse to support companies with such poor business model since it will be a miracle if they are able to stay in business the way they are going at things. Luckily I ended up canceling my service the day prior to a new month. |
