shermc77 posted : Thank you for your response. I'm interpreting the "90% loss" reported as due to the non-response from the 3rd and 4th hops shown on the lower half of the page. It's like it's needing a response from every hop to show that things are okay. If this is true, the testing logic could be improved to treat no response from pinging a hop as a separate case or just ignoring it if hops farther down the link are working okay.
I think you are right--our circuit is okay.

Rxdoxx posted : 100% means that the router is set not to respond to pings, so looking at the lines, they are ok.

Truthfully, I don't know why that 90% is showing in the upper part, but I wouldn't worry, the lines to you look fine.

Didn't like the gap between the best/worst ping at your address, but that is just me, it should be fine, seen a ton of others with a much higher worst. Having the ping gap close/tight just shows a better consistency for tighter tweaking, but not a big thing, you're ok.
--
Was a Cruise Fanatic, one cruise on Princess cured me.
98% Loss??

shermc77 posted : I'm having some speed issues on my network. When I run ping from the Internet to my server, it shows 0% loss, even with 1472-byte packets. When I ran the Line Quality test, it shows a very high (90%) loss. »/linequality/nil/2549688
I read the info I could find about how to interpret the test results, but I'm still very worried that there is something wrong. How should I proceed from here??
--
Thanks, ShermC77
