Seriously -- I think the Verizon tech showed me the weather widget when he installed FiOS, and I've never used it or any other widget since.
I already hate the little network logos they put on the screen in the bottom right hand corner. What I don't need is more useless nonsense blocking the view of the TV show onscreen.
Maybe someone can write a widget that erases the network logo in the corner. Now that would be a widget worth having.
Verizon nor any other cable or satellite company doesn't put network logos on the corner of the screen. Networks themselves embed them. Its their way of reminding you what channel you're watching
