Re: Longtime Verizon user who likes it.....

You're right about T-Mobile service. I've had nothing but great coverage here in San Francisco and everywhere I've traveled with my G1. T-Mobile seems to be very strong in California and my bill for unlimited voice/data/text is only $94 a month including taxes.

How is your battery life with the myTouch? That's my biggest complaint with the G1. I can't get through the day without charging my phone. Luckily I have an extra battery that T-Mobile sent me for free after complaining about the horrible battery life.

My wife's had her myTouch for a week. Battery life is the same as what you've said, ie: poor. If she's using it often (she texts quite a bit) and checking email, it can't get through the day.

My battery lasts all day.

As you can imagine it's new and I'm constantly touching the screen and checking my various email accounts. I use Yahoo, Gmail and Exchange.

I also stream lastFM at work. Throughout a full work day with WiFi on, I keep around a 50% battery life. Not bad for the amount I use it.

Left idle on a full charge this thing hangs on to the 100% mark for a long time.
