Re: Longtime Verizon user who likes it..... You're right about T-Mobile service. I've had nothing but great coverage here in San Francisco and everywhere I've traveled with my G1. T-Mobile seems to be very strong in California and my bill for unlimited voice/data/text is only $94 a month including taxes.
How is your battery life with the myTouch? That's my biggest complaint with the G1. I can't get through the day without charging my phone. Luckily I have an extra battery that T-Mobile sent me for free after complaining about the horrible battery life. |

 | My battery lasts all day.
As you can imagine it's new and I'm constantly touching the screen and checking my various email accounts. I use Yahoo, Gmail and Exchange.
I also stream lastFM at work. Throughout a full work day with WiFi on, I keep around a 50% battery life. Not bad for the amount I use it.
Left idle on a full charge this thing hangs on to the 100% mark for a long time. |
