| If you get one, and are tech savvy I can't recommend rooting your Android phone more. It can be flashed back to its factory condition if there are any problems, but you can do so much. You get a lot more options for software to run (Backup for Root Users is invaluable for free backups of apps, text messages, etc) and you can add new themes.
For example, the HTC Hero theme, to me, is heads and tails better than the standard Android theme.
