 [DIRECTV] Channel 4 breaks up

Ever since the OTA switch to digital my local channel 4 (NBC, Washington DC) on DirectTV every now and then looks like it's getting "digital rain fade" (i.e. video break-up and sometimes audio too). All other DirecTV channels are fine (including the other locals). No weather either at my location or over in the DC area during these events. Satellite transponder signal strength during these events shows 98's across the board. I get the same thing at the same time on both of of our DirecTV receivers.
Anyone else experience this?

probably an issue with the feed from the local station to DirecTv.
