Re: Telus Aircard Sierra Wireless 597E problem What I had to go through to get this resolved (which was as slow & painful as the connection) - was to first file a ticket with Telus, they'll have you do all the standard tests (pathping being the gold standard), then determine whose tower you are having issues with... then, it just takes time to resolve. In my case, 3 weeks.
8087 is the latest PRL for Telus, so if everything worked fine recently, it's a tower issue. To isolate, just drive with your card/laptop to another tower location and see if everything works fine. |
 | They mentioned that I could turn on the 'NIC' option in the watcher (which I'm not using, being on an MBR1000 router). Apparently this is off by default, but offers a slightly stronger radio power (or better signal rate)?
Anyone have any idea what the AT command would be for this ? |
