Also, since AT&T DSL 6.0 and Uverse requires new modems, why not rant about that?

WTH are you talking about? You need a new modem, but you don't need prof. install done...nor any new coax run...so...uhh....yeah. The process has been - buy new DOC3 modem...unhook old modem, hook up new modem, call Comcast for provision...done. |

I assume I have to call Comcast when changing out the modem, right? |
