Hey, Karl, can you be more UNFACTUAL?

Exactly how do you think people will be able to get DOCSIS 3.0 without professional installs and new modems since the wiring has to support it and so does the modem?

Also, since AT&T DSL 6.0 and Uverse requires new modems, why not rant about that?

Perhaps it would Bode well for you to do some research before bashing something making you look like a idiot?

WTH are you talking about? You need a new modem, but you don't need prof. install done...nor any new coax run...so...uhh....yeah. The process has been - buy new DOC3 modem...unhook old modem, hook up new modem, call Comcast for provision...done.

Actually, if your coax is older, you do need new wiring.

I just got a SB6120 modem and have been using the D-Link 655 - was wondering what coax wiring you were talking about and how old is old on the replacement?

I assume I have to call Comcast when changing out the modem, right?
