 [netopia] Netopia/Motorola 2210-2001

I just purchased a Motorola 2210-02-1002 to replace my 8 year old Speedstream 5260. The old configuration was Speedstream connected to a D-Link DI-704 router connected to a Linksys WAP54G wireless access point, everything worked fine until the modem started having problems. Also I have four laptops and a desktop connected to the wireless that have no problems connecting to the internet. I configured the modem via wire from the desktop and was able to connect to the internet with no problem. When I connect the modem to either the router or the wireless access point, I can't see it, via 192.168.1.254, and can not connect to the internet. Also all wireless access except the desktop I used to configure it, can't connect to the wireless access point. Can anyone help with this?

On another site I got a reply that worked. All I had to do was configure the modem to be in bridge mode instead of the default. It is now connected to my router, which my wireless is connected to, and all the PC's in the house can connect to the internet.
