A BiG F U 2 B E L L !!

i think it's apparent why.
bell i hate your company more and more every time i see your silly ads. and now after reading the crtc decision. i hate you even more. and you sit here and wonder why your bleeding customers left right and center. you may have won a temporary win now. but i swear i will enjoy watching your wireless sales plummet in the winter when the big red and newcomers drop a nice wet deuce on your faces.

The blame should be pointed on CRTC for accepting this crap.

I really wonder how Virgin Mobile now owns by bell will be doing. Overcharge people like the rest of bell tactics?

I have a VM phone and a Bell phone. Just changed plans on the VM phone. They are excellent.

This is more of the CRTC's fault, but bell is till at fault.

Bell was obviously going to try to do this, they view the wholesalers are competitors nothing would give bell greater pleasure then to get rid of them by killing there customer base off.

However bell being a rather stupid poorly managed company doesnt seem to realise that on rogers theres a max overcharge of $25.

Neither bell's plans or the recently approved Useage Based Billing Tarrif will appeal to the large number of whole saler customers that are about to be lost. They will all flock to rogers.

The CRTC is designed to prevent things like this from happening but they seem to be in bed with bell.

Personal I would love to see the CRTC close shop and have a new company take its place with the best interest of the end users in mind.

edit: nevermind I just found out that this only effects residential lines.

What shows up their greed is that they weren't trying to charge more for their connection from the CO to the wholesale connection side, no no.. they were trying to get a broad swathe of cash from all users. They knew where to get the most cash from, and that's direct from competitors' consumers.

We mustn't be too harsh with Bell.

They are just a soulless corporation seeking as much money as possible for their executive's pay and perks.

Think of Bell as a pit-bull out for a walk with the CRTC holding their lease.

Dog gets loose and bites someone. Who do you blame?

Who do you blame?
Shareholders. BCE wants to make a profit for shareholders. Who might those shareholders be? Oh yeah, pretty much anyone that holds one of many popular Canadian mutual funds that invest heavily in BCE.

Shareholders.
Follow the money. Shareholders get a pittance compared to execs.

Are shareholders privy to, and condone, the decisions that the execs make and execute.

Which ultimately fill these forums with stories of the endless abuse of the customer and state of broadband in Canada today.

Edit: I am excluding Kevin O'Leary as a non-culpable shareholder as he would strike a deal with Satan for a half basis point gain on his equity stake.

Yup, just dropped Bell completely for Teksavvy.

Feels so good having Bell out of my wallet.

Sorry dude but Bell still gets two thirds of your money. That's why I am with Cogeco.

Another commercial here folks kinda like the US one where the bankers pick your pocket except we substitute Bell.

Oh, I'm well aware of where my money is eventually going, cable is not an option now though. I'd still rather pay Teksavvy than Bell, at least they're fighting these rulings and trying to sort this mess out.

torture

@cgocable.net

Yes if no cable it is the lesser of two evils. TSI is definitely the right option.

I have been shoving bamboo under my fingernails to get used to the day when I may
have to go DSL and experience the pain of knowing my money is flowing to Bell.

Just got off the phone with Bell and now I think I will join in on these fellings towards Bell.

I just recently moved to a new house and I had to fight for a few days just to get my Internet working, it seems they never moved my Internet service for me but over the phone they said they did.

Then I notice today that my plan got changed on me without my concent, I was on a grandfathered plan. Apparently I agreeded to a downgrade which got processed and now I can't go back to my old plan.

WTF!

If you had an "unlimited" plan with Bell, they will do anything to get you off that grandfathered plan. A friend of mine lost his unlimited account simply because he called Bell asking to check on his lines (sync problems). During the whole debacle (problem was never solved) he noticed that they switched his plan...and he no longer has "unlimited". Needless to say, he left Bell shortly thereafter.
