3 edits | [iO] We got a new IPG! Whoah, what's up with the new interactive programming guide?! It is pretty cool, but it i sjust shortcuts. The bar has the same graphics as the rest of the unchangedIPG and is a rip-off of what Comcast has had for years, but I'll take any improvement. Here's some pictures. I noticed the new feature after watching my box get a massive update. To get the shortcuts, press the "c" key on your remote. If anyone else notices anything new in the update, please post it here. |

I noticed that as well a few days ago. It just popped up out of the blue and I've yet to see it again. In fact I thought it was part of the broadcast for a few seconds but quickly figured out it wasn't. I must have hit the C button and not realized it. |

usual. and after you press C to bring it up, you can't do anything else w/ the box, have to wait for the thing to appear.

I have this but not the web schedule. This is useless btw. Wow, I can look up movies to pay cablevision money for. And if you want to view the weather it changes the channel to news12 weather instead of letting you read a basic forecast. |

Hey tell me.. when are they going to stop cutting off text for the info to the show that's on.. A lot of shows and recorded shows all have this issue it cuts off before the whole description is given out. |

Speed always seemed to be to be dependent on usage. The box feels snappier but then again, I'm often using it at like 4 AM. |

Time Warner has this amazing option to actually page down when viewing show description so you can read all of it on the mini-info page without having to go to the full guide.
(my use of amazing was sarcasm, as I can't believe this simple solution hasn't already be implemented into the guide) |
