I don't know how true this is, just telling you what I heard. It is ridiculous, my wife's Motorola V557 which has to be pushing 6 years old can get MMS.....but I get this lame text telling me to go to a website and log in with some cryptic password to see my MMS.
I could see this being the case. Almost every network requires pictures to be compressed when they're sent via MMS. Lots of people might get mad when their pictures they sent from their phones look horrible when they send them via MMS to other phones.
