Re: DVRicide It depends on at which point the DVR gets the video stream. If it gets it before the STB overlays its GUI, then the ad won't be there. However, if it's getting the stream from the box's output, then yes, it will show up.
And since the only DVR that will get the stream before the GUI is overlaid is the AT&T DVR, then it's the only one that will work. All the rest--TiVo, Windows Media Center, MythTV--will get the stream later and therefore be rendered useless by these ads. |
