Re: YOU FAIL! We all failed when we let the Bush admin and the FCC pass up America's best a greatest chance at cheap reliable national wireless broadband. The 700 MHz spectrum could have been the vehicle we needed, lower power routers and signals that travel longer distances and through walls much more easily than current 2.4 GHz signals.
But instead? The FCC auctioned the space off to the highest bidders in the telcom industry. So sad.
And it's funny how people complain about the gov't being able to handle public broadband. They seem to handle my transportation (roads), water and sewer, garbage collection, etc, just fine. |
