I live in Lubbock, and they've had 20meg for about 6 months, but it's around $90 and the upload sucks. Also, all of these docsis 3.0 "trial" areas are very close to the area they are testing the usage monitor.

I have to agree with you, we don't really need 100+mb download at the moment. Hell, 10-20 is fine for even the most demanding streaming videos, but make it 10mb download / 10mb upload. This 10mb/200kb stuff is getting ridiculous. I upload a lot more now (especially data backed-up online) and I hate when I saturate the upload link which seems to cause download speeds to drop to 56k levels.

True, that10mb/200kb is dumb. I much rather have 10/10 speed.

I have 20/2 speed and most servers don't even get me the full speeds. 2mbps upload still is much better than the 1mbps I had with timewarner. I can't wait till 60mbps speeds come out with Charter....that is if they come with that at all lol.

I'd think they would go with 50mbps for DOCSIS 3.0 rather than 20mbps.

.. or that it will have any faster upload. They could certainly make a 60/2 tier and you would be no better off. Just paying more.
