According to the provider, the deployment will service 100,000 customers, or about 8% of Suddenlink's 1.3 million residential subscribers. Suddenlink offers cable broadband service in Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and West Virginia.
Are those "select areas of Texas" the FIOS areas of Texas? | | Hookem99Deep In The Heart join:2007-07-18 Pflugerville, TX kudos:1 Reviews:

While I would love the extra bandwidth, I've had Suddenlink before, and know how they operate. There is a reason they are bottom of the barrel in rankings! Besides, I pay just 25/mo for 6/1 with Uverse. Not sure I could justify a 300% or more increase in price for 20mb. -- Women think they are clever just because they can fake an orgasm for a relationship, whats the big deal a man can fake a whole relationship for an orgasm!!!! | | | West Texas for the most part has SL,U-verse, and Wimax. SL is not upgrading any of the areas that have no competition (North Houston, etc.). I have the unfortunate experience of having SL in both my hometown and college town, and neither can ever max out the "8 meg" speeds. | |
