This afternoon when attempting to record a program I got the message "Television services temporarily unavailable, please try later." Can someone please tell me what is going on. Why won't the DVR record? Programs were recording earlier today. |

I seem to have a hard time remembering the damn thing's a computer and therefore, when things aren't working right a reboot will frequently solve the problem. It did. |

clubs: | Mine doesn't happen often but when it does its the easy fix  .
Also you can reboot from the menu, goto options-restart. |

I've never timed it but it just feels faster...

It would make sense, think of it like your PC. Power button is HARD/COLD Boot. Just using 'restart' in your o/s is a SOFT/HOT Boot.
Usually with that type of reboot you end up skipping some of the self-tests, which may make the boot time marginally faster. |
