If you want to cancel your FB account, why not just say so instead of all the miswording? To "delist" as someones friend is not the same as removing your FB presence. You apparently want your account cancelled which is a simple enough process if you had just stated so to begin with.

Lots of posts, here, most have none to do with what the OP asked. The title of the thread is misleading. He want's to "unaccept" someone as a friend. Not cancel his FB account.

Easiest way; At the top hover on the friends tab, then click all friends. Find the person you want to remove and click the little "x" on the right hand side of their name. That will remove your association from that person.

Why ? Not much different than here.

That happens on a lot of places beside social networks. How about ISPs, subscriptions, etc.?

One way to to terminate your FB account is to violate a serious rule like faking datas (I got kicked off for not using real datas--sheesh!). ;)

It has to do with the total information awareness where they have every detail of your life on a machine and your tracked like cattle and you even have a brand as they might look in your car to see how clean it is.

You should look at it like a spider web with each little section that plays a bigger role and you can even be eliminated at the press of a few buttons and pages like facebook is a data collection center that sells your information for profit and who all do think is collecting?

Many organization's play a role in this agenda and the true reason they need to control p2p is cause they need to control the flow of information and get a foot in the door for other controls.

Well I have news for them they wont be able to stop what will come and no jet fuel huffing needed as I'm sure your aware its in your vegetables. ;)

I'm going to tell you why as what is eventually going to happen is the prison will be protected by machines and people will start to understand the prison system they built for themselves and haven't you noticed the violence lately?
