Aug 14, 2009 Windows 7 Update - Now have Internet Problems

Comcast Cable
Using the 64bit windows 7 in and Intel i-7 computer.
Just updated Windows 7.
Wow, the Internet just went to 4.8 K speed.

Everything was normal until the update.
On a Yahoo search - I type the letters in the search box and wait 8 seconds for them to appear.

It is way worse on comcast e-mail, hotmail or any other service.

Anyone else having problems?

No, but have you tried un-installing the update to see if computer returns to "normal?"

Comcast is known for shapping it's customers bandwidth. Maybe it just luck of the draw that they finally caught on to you and decided to throttle your bandwidth just as you updated your Windows 7.

Can you check what update(s) were installed?:

Start > All Programs > Windows Update > View Update history

My build 7100 took the updates without a glitch; both 32 and 64-bit browsers still flying...
