magicjack apparently disabled my new Windows 7 system. Installed magicjack, it worked fine, I rebooted, and the computer said "Please Select a Boot Device".

After several reboots, I finally decided to try unplugging the magicjack. Next reboot - windows 7 came up fine.

Check your bios settings. You probably have something set to boot from USB devices. The bios sees the MJ device which isn't bootable, and chokes (instead of just skipping it like some computers do).
