Re: Heres my setup

Nice. I have the same power supply! 3 of them actually, one in my computer, one in my server, and a spare one, since the one in my main computer decided to conk out a couple years back, wasn't getting anything out of it, but the mobo light was on... I smacked it, and the whole thing powered up and has been fine ever since. Still have the spare I bought in case it decided to completely die.

By the way, that's a very attractive case! And I thought I liked my Antec P182 Cases... With the front being a giant grill like that, hows the noise levels? Is it fairly quiet? What model case is it? (Just noticed its Lian Li) Checked the site, Model PC-V1000Z

(Awesome work with the wire management too, I was able to do that with my 2 Antec Cases... Just don't open the left hand side of the case or you'll see the web of wires snaking all behind the motherboard tray, lol.)

I also own the P182 for a home server case. The V1000Z is very quiet or should I say the GELID fans are very quiet. I'm running the CPU and back fan at about 1500RPM and the bottom HD fan at about 1050RPM. When I walk into my room sometimes I forget the PC is actually on. I had the Noctuas in there but didn't like the way they looked. I put them in the P182. Besides the GELID's deliver way more pressure at at similar noise levels.

My P182 main computer in my bedroom is like that too. I sometimes forget its on until you listen really carefully and just hear the 'whoosh' sound of air being moved, no high pitched whines or anything, So I leave it on 24/7. My P182 server on the other hand, I have the fans cranked up a couple notches, so it makes a bit of a louder whooshing sound, (Though I guess that's not really the sound it makes, not a whoosh, just air moving...) But then again its in its own dedicated server/storage room so noise levels don't bother me there.

Thanks! If any of my fans conk out, I'll have to see about getting GELID fans as replacements. (I checked my supplier NCIX.com, and they sell them.)
