| Faster Speeds?! Hey Guy's im on Eastlink's 15/1 (Down/up) and its okay i guess.
But im wondering when Eastlink will provide more Speeds or even Fiber? Vios is getting 50 down and like 25 up.
Its just somthing that i would rather have, a faster internet connection. |

There are all kinds of services that you can utilize faster speeds for. One thing in particular is news groups.
Eastlink is falling behind, and failing at improving its services. |

More upload speed is definitely a must, I am an amateur photographer and panoramas that are 20MB suck the life out of a 15/1 connection. I also process photos for others and sometimes just one panorama can comprise over 400MB.
As for the point the other person made, FiOS might be something appealing to want to happen up here. Unfortunately it's not such a rosy picture with FiOS. If you're living in a nonprofitable area you can find yourself dumped by Verizon and suddenly question what will happen to your service tomorrow. |
