About time. I have both hail & snow falling .....

First time this year?? Congrats on the snow then.

We have had the strangest winter in my 12 years up here...40f one day -10 the next. Mother nature is confused

The rain is starting to get a little "sticky" here in Beaverton. I wouldn't be surprised if we got some white overnite, but I wouldn't wager on it. Mt Hood finally got some new snow (20+ inches they claim) over the weekend, so its time to head on up again! Funny, the most dangerous part of skiing is the drive there and back.

Yep first of the year right here in town.

My wife has a Jeep with 4 studded aggressive snow tires, I have a 1-ton truck with the same (only bigger!)... I WANT SNOW!

Remember back in '90? Very good winter! 52 weeks of -45 degrees, and 12 feet of snow! Well, not quite, but we did have several weeks of below freezing and the snow was so good, at 02:00, when I got off work at a tavern one night, people were still trying to get home from work in Seattle! I lived out in Bothell (North-East of Seattle) and counted 147 cars just abandoned on the freeway in the ~7 miles I had to go!

People always give me a hard time for being prepared, but when it hits, at least I can get home!

I will never forget that 1990 Winter storm we had. I was living in Seattle then and when the snow storm hit I was in East Seattle on a Metro Transit bus. It tool us 8 hours to go 6 mile to the transit center were many ended up spending the night. Many buses got stuck out on the road that night too. I didn't even dare try to go back to work for a week.

It snowed a little last night, was gone by morning though.

we had 6 inches of snow on Saturday and tomorrow its supposed to get up to 50 degrees...

No snow in Beav-town today. But you could tell who lives at higher elevations, there were several cars with 1-3" of fresh snow on top in the parking lot this morning.

We got a little bit of snow in Forest Grove, but it had all melted by morning.
My 5th grade son was upset. No Snow Day!;):)

Well last night it came down nice. So I went out and played in it like a child. Had so much fun.

It was a very welcome change of atmosphere for me. Very relaxing.
