| Speedstream 5200
So I have the Speedstream 5200 model that looks like this

and the linksys WRT54G v6 model and i was trying to get utorrent to not give me the little red exclamation point.
Well i discovered it was because of the speedstream 5200 being a router like it has been for many other people. But the problem is, I have no idea what the password to the admin profile is.
The only profile i can attempt to log into is admin and whenever i try a password it says "This user profile requires a password"
I have absolutely no idea what to do, does anyone have any ideas? |

| The default for a Retail 5200 is admin/admin for the username and password.
If you are trying to set the Modem to Bridge Mode, there may or may not be a link on the Menu, but this should work as a direct link.

That apparently isn't the password for me. I've tried to enter it but it just says "This user profile requires a password" |

Where did your Modem come from?
What ISP supplied it? |

| Yeah and it pops up with a "this site is requiring a user name and password" and admin/admin doesn't work.
Don't quite know what you mean by Where it came from, but my ISP supplied it to me if that's what you mean.

Open all the Menu Items on the left. Does it show all of these options below and if not, what options are missing?

Check the type of connection that you have on the main page. Is it PPPoE or PPPoA?
PPPoA cannot use Bridged Mode.
PPPoE can use Bridged Mode. |

| OK, try this:
Go to Firewall, click on DMZ and select "Enable DMZ with this Host IP address:" and type in 192.168.254.1 (that should be the IP that is given to your Linksys WRT54G). Then select "Make Settings Permanent" and click Apply.
That will DMZ all incoming to the Linksys. Now you will have to Port Forward the port or ports you need for BT traffic inside the Linksys.

If you try to change a setting and it just refreshes without saving the change then say that, or if you try to change a setting and you are prompted for the Username and Password then say that, but saying that you cannot change anything does not tell me what you are having a problem with.
