| e-Sata no longer showing as Safe Removal device
I have an external Sata drive and it is no longer showing in my Safely Remove Hardware list. Only my external USB drives are listed...
I checked my driver's properties and write caching is not enabled...
I must turn on the external drive and reboot my computer for it to be listed. I also turn off my computer when I detach the e-Sata hard drive....
Any thoughts?

| I have never seen my eSATA drive show up there.
When I disconnect or connect I do so through device manager.
Find my drive and disable....or disable the controller (in my case it is a pci card with 2 esata and 2 internal sata connections).
Having system restore on for these drives will require reboot.
If for some reason no system restore but still asks for reboot, I use a program like unlocker and check whats still running/using that drive.
