| If you're on interleaved then it's probably because your line wasn't stable enough on fast path. If things have changed and you can support it, then post in the AT&T Direct forum and they can fix it for you (or tell you why the line can't support it). Here's the link...

Note that AT&T Direct is a private forum so only you and the AT&T techs can see your thread. Also, the techs are usually pretty swamped with requests so be patient, they'll get to you as soon as they can. Since you have a working circuit they may bypass you to work on ones that are having problems.
Finally, don't reply to your AT&T Direct post until one of the techs has replied first. They look for unanswered threads so if they see any replies they may bypass yours, thinking someone else is helping you. |

| reply to SHADOW187 As tonydi states. AT&T West (and the other former SBC regions) tends to just put you on Fastpath whenever possible; unlike AT&T Southeast, and other DSL providers. So, if you are on interleaved path, there are probably line issues which will destabilize your connection if you go to Fastpath.
Only time I ever saw my modem go to interleaved path was when I had serious static on voice, and accompanied by low, and variable, SNR. When the voice line was cleared up, I was automatically back on Fastpath. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
