| SMC 6824M Initial Setup
Hey There,
I'm totally new to managed switches, and just purchased one, the SMC 6824M.
I've installed it, and it works with my network's servers and workstations to switch data just fine, except the "Managed" part.
It doesn't seem to be picking up a DHCP address so I can connect to it.
There isn't a MAC address on it, so I can't use BOOTP or something like that.
I unfortunately don't have a proper console cable, just Cat5e cables.
What should I do to get into the management tools?
