The dark age of dial up.

Click for full size
This image is for historical purposes so we can look back 10 years from now and show our kids or grandchildren that in the year 2009, Plenty of people were still using dial up because cable and telcos didn't want to serve parts of america because they thought some people were unprofitable even though they probably were profitable after some time. This is the speed using a "high speed dial up modem". The download seems correct but the upload is way off probably due to compression or so. Hopefully we will see everyone move away from dial up and go to cable, DSL or even fiber optics if you are lucky. Now I will go back on downloading my movie that will finish downloading about 2 days from now
