| GrandStream HT-502 behind router: port-triggering ?
For GrandStream HT-502 behind router, what ports to setup in the router for port-triggering ? Service triggering port TCP/4200 and inbound connection ports UDP 5004-5061 ? Can receive incoming calls but getting fast-busy when a outgoing number is dialed. Thanks. |

| It's normally not necessary to use any port forwarding or triggering. If your router has any settings for SIP, SPI, or ALG, try turning them off. Check that it has the latest firmware. If no luck, post router make/model/version.
[Based on your IP, I'm assuming cable modem. If not, post ISP and modem type.] |

Just for kicks and see if you can make sure the router is indeed the problem. I'm sure it is, but just to make certain |

Or if you have a cable modem just put the HT-502 before the router and be done with it I have my HT-502 after my Westell 6100F.
Can't tell me they don't make it complicated for a reason, lol. Thanks, Simon, Anton, and others for all your help, now that we know the procedure to make you device play well with my Verizon modem\router. We can help others stick it to the man? |
