| Disable DHCP on modem (SB6120)
I bought and installed a Motorola SB6120; unfortunately DHCP is enabled, it's giving me issues since I have a double NAT.
I'd like to disable it, but there is no option for it on the web interface. I tried calling my ISP (Comcast), so push a configuration to modem, but they tell me they keeps getting errors about the modem not found.
Weird part is I can go online (like making this post).
Again I need to disable DHCP, but don't see the option for it. Basically all it needs to do is act as a bridge. |

| I've never used the 6120, but, it is almost certainly the same as the 51XX models in this regard. The DHCP server only comes into play when the modem is disconnected from the Internet. During normal operation, the modem operates as a bridge.
What kind of issues are you experiencing that you believe are caused by double-NAT? |

Just guessing here, but fixing this might get rid of the double-NAT warnings. |
