| Got SA 4050 Not working
I just came back from the TW Queens Mall with SA 4250. I connected incoming cable to back of box and HDMI to TV. When box showed the time, I turned it on and it is still showing the time, but no picture on the HDTV. I am still using my previous remote, but that does't work either. (I was told at TW to go to channel 99, but I can't do that and only snow on screen of tV!) What am I doing wrong?

1 edit | Well, I got the picture to show by clicking on the HDMI on my HDTV remote control's INPUT. Had to phone TW tech line. Still having some probltems though. I have Toshiba 26" 26AV502R HDTV 720p
Every time I turn off the box/tv and turn it back on, I have to change the picture size again as it is not filling the screen. I have it on stretch Ratio 16x9 output resol 480i The Toshiba remote pic size button is set at FULL However, every time I turn the box/tv back on, the picture is small. How can I have it remember the ================ Every time I click on the TW remote (still have old TW one) Settings and Output Resolution it shows Status 480i, even though I keep clicking on SEL for 729p. (Choose the output resolution for your TV) It shows: Auto Select with no Dot to the left of it 480i with Dot to left 480p with Dot to left 720p with now Dot to left 1080i with Dot to left
Shouldn't it show 720p in the Setttings/Output Resolution/Status = 480i?
Aspect Ration = 16x9 Picture size = stretch ========================= Also, when I had the SA standard box 3250 Explorer box, the volume display on screen for the box remote was different (yellow/orange, I believe) than the volumen display on screen for the HDTV remote (blue). Now, when I click on the volume with TW remote it shows the same (blue) display volume control on the screen as when I click on the volume for the HDTV remote.
How do I know if I am now seeing (getting) HD programs on this HDTV? |

@verizon.net | reply to AliceZ alice based on your history of posts your better off booking a service call rather than running back and forth to queens mall and posting then waiting for replies here. |
