[Service] ESN Lookup on Used Radio (Sirius)

I picked up two Sirius receivers at a junk sale. Paid about $12 total for both.

Bring them home, plug them in and not only do they work, they're active!

I suspect at least one of them is on a lifetime subscription because it is an old JVC unit that looks like it's been in storage for some time.

The question: Is there a way to look up the ESN and find out how much time is left on the subscriptions without dealing directly with Sirius customer service? I'm afraid if I call and ask they'll shut the receivers off.

The other option is to just enjoy them while I can, and if/when they run out, oh well.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

They may not have lifetime subscriptions. This happened to a friend of mine. He canceled the subscription on one of his receivers and packed it away. A little over a year later he got it out, hooked it up, and it still worked. What happens is if you cancel your subscription they send out a signal to deactivate the receiver. If you don't have the receiver powered on it won't receive that signal. They repeat the sending of the deactivation signal, but can't keep doing it forever. If you leave the receiver powered off long enough it will end up never receiving the deactivation signal...and you end up with free service on that receiver.
