| No. There are no distance limitations to T1 service.
I would be happy to check availability for you and shoot you a quote. We currently have some great promotions on T1 and Bonded T1s, as well as other service we may be able to provide - even with your "load coils" or electronics on the line.
I can offer a managed T1 service for no additional cost as well. This means it's totally hands off to you or your company. If you have issues with the router, we login and repair or dispatch a tech. Who at home as IT Staff on duty?
Good luck with your decision... |

With HDSL gear, and doublers, it's possible to go upto about 30k feet - so unless you're getting dialtone over open-wire carrier, you can get a T1...
Cost is the usual killer for home-use T1's... Generally they start at $150 and go up, but varies GREATLY on distance and location...
The real killer for you would be back-haul - your ISP (you still need one, to connect the internet to your T1 - otherwise, it's just a pipe to nowhere) would need to take you (guessing) Pembroke to connect, assuming you're really in Deep River... And that would cost large coin.
What may be a cheaper option, would be a wireless internet stick - Bell, TELUS, and Rogers all show pretty decent HSPA/GSM coverage along Hwy 17... |
