Yes we will, starting in 2010. Both LTE and Wimax are 100% IP, and neither supports circuit switched services (ie. traditional voice). This is why Verizon's first stab at 4G will be a cobbled up mix of LTE for data and legacy CDMA for voice. You can expect the second iteration of 4G services to have completely dropped the CDMA piece, however that might be a while.
