i think a monetary fine is better. imo, it should be closer to $16000 minimum. |

The fine is meaningless, you declare bankruptcy and have assets disappear (or never any to begin with), and open up shop again. In an small business office building I work at, there are businesses, usually stock brokers/"funds" who change the name on their door every quarter, but same guys walking in and out every day.
Go find the papers of incorporation, and arrest all the "directors" and hold them liable for the robocalls by default, they accepted responsibility/liability by signing on the line, if they want to plea bargain and testify against subordinates, if the DA wants to, they can walkaway without charges. When someone goes to jail, either you come out even more of a criminal, or you come out being an angel for the rest of your life who always drives 55. |
