Try switching which server is primary (ie, make the secondary your primary DNS server, and vice versa) I'll try that later.
I just tried viewing the last video in my last post in hd and it loaded decently fast..could of been faster but at least it wasn't pausing.
..time of trying this is 5:38 AM ..I doubt the DNS is the culprit here.
btw: My Comcast speed is 16/2 and I always seem to get those speeds if the server(s) support it..so its not a speed issue from my line. |

Re: Youtube+HD videos SLOW streaming is back. :( Just wondering if anybody seeing problems passes through 216.239.43.80 on a tracert? My friend is having trouble with youtube+google on a Cox cable connection and his pings spike when he hits there. I traced it from my fios connection and I spike when I hit there too. Could that be a problem? |

| reply to ztmike If you're using Firefox, it may be due to the default session save setting. You can try this:
1. Open Firefox and in the address bar, type about:config
2. Click on the Filter text-entry bar and type browser.sessionstore.interval
3. Double-click on value and change it from 10000″ to 120000″
This changes Firefox from saving your session every 10 seconds to every 2 minutes. (Or use 300000″ for 5 minutes)

1 edit | reply to ztmike Right now I'm on a 15 Mbps business line... fiber so I dont have any issues...
On my comcast (12/2 I was on the 22 pkg for a while) I have always had that issue ZT dunno if its a local thing with us but no matter what DNS i've used it always done the same crap.
Some do it some dont no matter the time or load... It could be 2 am and i'll still get buffering issues :/ |

 | reply to ztmike I have very fast VDSL connection, but my videos are loading slow again!
I tried this fix »fixexe.com/youtube-loading-slow-···speed-up and it was working for couple of weeks.
Now seems to slow down a bit (again). Any suggestion what to do? |

| reply to Cogdis I can't just run a trace and guaranty that I will hit that particular router. But I have a couple of informative trace routes to the YouTube web site (not a content server): With a BitTorrent upload running at 29 kB/s up:
