MMS is something you're already paying for when you have a text messaging plan.

Carrier pressure? MMS is standard on EVERY OTHER PHONE ON EARTH, dating back to the Nokia 5100 series and its ability to send small animated images.
He's from Canada, they get nickel and dimed for everything up there.
