So after our utter failure, everyone split up and I placed a LFG. I posted in General I was looking for a group and was 1.5k dps (which is about where I really was when I tried it on a lvl 80 elite in icecrown, Thanks Kris for advice). However, I got laughed at. People where claming that "My auto attack is that much", and "a loc can do that at lvl 70." I said, "Come run TOC with me I would like to see that." There was no more response from them. I place a LFG and then I went and did some quest etc. I got a whisper and I was in. No I didn't top the DPS. The Unholy DK was at 2.8k dps and the mage was 2.2k dps. I started out at 1.5k. However, we ran it several times and I left at 1.8 -1.9k with out any gems in the sockets of my new gear. This is what I got;
Banner of Victory
Breastplate of the Imperial Joust
Gauntlets of the Stouthearted Crusader
Legguards of Abandoned Fealty

I know the last is a Tank piece but it was an upgrade for me and I want a tank off spec. The Pally tank already had them. The DK and I rolled for off spec and I won.

So now I have them with +12 Str Gems. I'm a JC but don't have the +16 str design yet. I have the +20 design but I'm not high enough to use it yet. I have the +32 one that JC's can only use but need to continue the daillies to get the dragon's eyes. Ill get one today. I should have gotten it first before the +20 design but I didn't see it originally.

I know this is a long post but I wanted to explain that your advice really helped me, thank you all. Mats are

Frozen Orb (1 per each, prices went down since 3.2)
Arctic Fur ( 1 per )

2 icy dragonscale (icescale)
2 nerubian chitin (frosthide)

Another thing you would want to get is

Ice Strikers Cloak(DPS)
Durable Nerubhide Cape (Tank)

These are item level 200 epics so they WILL be replaced but they're good entry level epics. I make these ALL the time for DK's that just hit 80. When my rogue hit 80 I got Ice strikers cloak and used it until I got the badge cloak. I added 22 agi and everything that dropped couldn't touch it.

Oh and there are leg armors that have easier mats but the stats aren't as high.

Jormonger Leg Armor - 45 stam 15 agi
Nerubian Leg Armor - 55 AP and 15 Crit

I don't remember the EXACT mats for these but i know you'll need Jormonger Scales and Nerubian Chitin for them. Just have a LW link his stuff.

On a side note, anyone know if its true that there isn't a cool down on a transmute for earthsiege or skyfire diamond. My JC is at 425 and I need them to continue lvling. I don't want to pay the 30g a pop for them which is what they are at right now, but I can farm for the mats while I'm waiting to get into the Heroics ;)

Of course if I get the right design I could get that back by selling the cut one. I was doing the diseaseless blood since I came back and I had zero armor pen. DPS is gear dependant. Blood spec is not.

1. Ebon Blade-requiring revered with the Ebon Blade
2. The sword from the Argent Tourney and
3. Titans Steel Destroyer from a BlackSmith.

I saw someone selling a Titansteel in trade for 500g but I hate to spend money so I hesitated, since I didn't know what was involved in getting the other two options. Plus I'm an Orc DK so I've been using Axe's and would have to lvl up a sword or mace. Anyway I don't have it. I will have to see if I can buy one over the next couple days.

In the mean time I'm asking for advice on what to do for upgrades. These are the things I'm been doing
1. Argent Tournament - I now have the Valiant Challege
2. Ebon Blade Quests for rep
3. Battle Grounds - AV is on holiday so I get more. I currently have like 30,000 Honor Point.

I will try to get into one of the 3 top lvl Dungeons when I can do it without have to go /afk, hopefully tonight after I get the kids in bed. My wife has school. I'm not even asking to get into a Heroic at this point, should I be? My dps is approaching 2k. In AV I'm usually in the top 5 for total damage and dps.
