Re: Poor planning One reason would be that when they started doing this a year or 2 ago there was outrage with users with non-3G phones claiming they could no longer get a connection and having a fit that they'd have to upgrade to a 3G phone. I remember seeing an article here on DSLR some time ago. Can't please everyone, but it's safe to say a majority of their userbase now has 3G equipment. |

 beaups join:2003-08-11 Hilliard, OH | And 850 band has been used on ATT/Cingular for years. Only time you had an issue was trying to use TMOBILE phone (certain models) and phones not designed for US. My 7 year old motorola has 850 band. |
