Well OF COURSE AT&T wants to see the Low Bar...

Of course AT&T wants to see the definition as low as possible. They sell WildBlue as their way of providing "broadband" to unserved areas, instead of doing the RIGHT thing and adding RT's in rural areas. These companies should NOT be allowed to re-brand or re-sell services like Hughes or WildBlue as a way to get around providing proper service in rural areas.

If I were making the decisions, I would not allow ANY stimulus funding to go to ANY company who: A) PLans to use the funds to expand coverage in urban areas and B)Resells or rebrands sat based internet access without a defined plan to replace that service with hard wired DSL or cable withing a defined period.
