| Anyone have issues today in Panama City - 9/3/09
Went to go online this morning and - nothing! Seems I could not pull an IP from Knology. Troubleshooted my system and ended up with laptop directly to modem and still no IP.
I called tech and they said there was no issue. He said he could hit my modem just fine and was getting a response. I said I could not get an IP. I said I would check my end a little more and call back if needed.
Finally got hold of a neighbor and they had the same issue. I called back and a different tech said, YEP, they had reports of accounts all over my area not pulling IPs. About 1hr later I finally got an IP. I had the same IP since I signed up back in 2000. Now I have a new one (not that it matters).
I'm in cedar grove area. I see maintenance planned later in the month that may affect me but nothing now. Must have been some system problem. I was down for almost 6 hours that I know of. The was NO reference to the issue on the support website. Isn't that what " Alerts and Notices" should include?
